First Fathers Tobacco--A Brief History
The idea seemed obvious at first--a roll your own tobacco wrapper made from a real tobacco leaf. It was something we expected in the industry, an idea we took for granted. When we discovered that no such wrapper existed, all we were left with was the desire. Fortunately, that was enough to spark inspiration, and we decided to make our own.
That was seven years ago--seven years that have proven an interesting journey and marked our first steps toward entering an industry firmly rooted and confident in tradition. Yet, these past years comprised only a fleeting moment in the history of the world's love affair with tobacco. And it is from this great history and tradition that we have drawn the inspiration for our own tobacco wrappers.
Our Goal for Our Wrappers:
We knew what we wanted to achieve--a premium flavored leaf tobacco wrapper that would remain supple outside of the package, that would roll and seal effortlessly, burn evenly, deliver satisfying taste and aroma, and produce an exquisite finished Cigarillo. Unique in flavor processes, our Connecticut Valley Broadleaf tobacco proved to be our first handsome and flavorful blend for tobacco rolling. And then we took our wrapper and went one step further--
We gave our tobacco wrapper a natural, sweet gum edge.
Our finished wrapper is exactly as we imagined.
